India’s 72nd Independence Day is a day of much celebration and reflection. While the country has certainly progressed on various fronts, it is also time for all citizens to come together and stay aware of the need to remain free and independent, especially in this day and age of digital barriers. In the age of the Internet where the world is connected through the click of a button, it is the need of the hour for India to remain independent and strengthen its defenses, not just physically, but even in the vast world of cybersecurity.

A partner to Government and Enterprises

In collaboration with “Cyber Swachhta Kendra” under the Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In), Ministry of Electronics & IT, Quick Heal has developed a free Bot Removal Tool that helps users remove botnet infection from their computer. The indigenously developed tool will continuously monitor the threat landscape for new bots and prevent them from damaging the user’s device by creating an antidote for every bot. It also has a mechanism to automatically detect botnets and analyze the behavior of a malware to find out if it is new or a modified version of an existing malware.


Global IT Security Solutions firm, Quick Heal Technologies, has assisted Maharashtra Cyber with proactive intelligence on the threat landscape. During the time of WannaCry, we had partnered with Quick Heal to set up a dedicated helpline number to assist distressed people at large. In addition, the darknet monitoring services of the company has helped us solve high profile cases involving large corporates and international agencies.
