At Quick Heal, our mission is to keep our users’ systems and devices secured and protected against all types of cyber threats with products that run the latest and cutting-edge technology. A vital part of this mission is our determination to make users their own heroes in their battle of cybersecurity. And materializing this goal is our launch of ‘Seqrite Services’ and ‘Quick Heal Academy.’ This initiative has been kick-started by Rohit Srivastwa, founder of JUNCO Technologies LLP, and Vishal Kumar, a Cyber Law specialist.

Seqrite Services will operate as a vital arm of Seqrite – the enterprise portfolio of Quick Heal. It aims to offer a wide range of Managed Security Services including Cyber Audit and Cyber Forensic, Security Consulting and Security Operations Centre (SoC) to enterprises and government organisations.

Running in proximity will be Quick Heal Academy, which aims to spread and increase cyber awareness among students of various age groups. The Academy will work in conjunction with universities, law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions. By offering online, classroom and corporate training courses in cyber laws, cybercrime investigation, and cybersecurity, Quick Heal Academy strives to build a strong and able force of cybersecurity professionals.

NASSCOM reports that India has currently around 50,000 trained cybersecurity professionals, as of 2015. The desired strength should be at least one million by 2020, given the rise in digital threats. With the aid of these two services, Quick Heal aims to help businesses and organizations become more aware of cybersecurity threats, their landscape and learn how to effectively mitigate the associated risks.

They say, “We can’t win if we don’t know the enemy”. And one of the strongest defences that we have against cybercrime is our awareness about it. At Quick Heal, we believe, being cyber aware is the ultimate weapon that anyone can have against all digital threats. And this very belief has been the driving force behind the creation of Seqrite Services and Quick Heal Academy.

‘Seqrite Services’ will be led by Rohit Srivastwa, a thought leader in the Cybersecurity space, Internationally, founder of a niche start-up ‘JUNCO Technologies LLP’, incubated by Science & Technology Park, Department of Science & Technology, Government of India. Rohit also initiated ‘ClubHack’, a first of its kind hackers’ conference in India. He was Director Technology ‘Common Wealth Games 2008 & 2010’ held in Pune and New Delhi, overseeing the IT & Security operations. Rohit has been recognised as ‘Microsoft Most Valuable Professional’ in Enterprise Security since past five years.

Vishal Kumar, a specialist in Cyber Law, having diverse exposure through his association with PwC and Asian School of Cyber Laws, will be steering the ‘Quick Heal Academy’ operations out of New Delhi. Vishal has also been a member of the working group on Cyber Laws, Legal Framework, and Cybersecurity, 12th Five Year Plan (2012 -17) Government of India.
